This document represents the formal agreement between the undersigned parent(s) or legal guardian and TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory (TLAP). By entering into this agreement, you acknowledge and fully understand the terms outlined herein and commit to adhering strictly to its provisions. The parties acknowledge that this AGREEMENT is binding and shall not be subject to negotiation or amendment due to typographical errors or misprints.

Terms of Enrollment: Upon submission of the deposit, it is mandatory to sign the enrollment contract. No refunds will be granted for the deposit or tuition payments once submitted. Your electronic signature holds the same legal weight as your printed signature, signifying your understanding and commitment to the enrollment process.

Enrollment Fees: To secure your child's enrollment at TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory, a non-refundable deposit of $2,700 must accompany the signed Enrollment Contract.

Tuition Payment Plan (2024 / 2025 Year Season):

The agreed-upon tuition amount is to be paid through an installment plan. This plan covers team gear, uniforms, meals, and activity fees.

Late Payments: A late fee of $100 will be incurred for payments received after the 4th of each month, and this supplementary amount must be remitted with the overdue tuition payment. A second instance of late payment will incur a $200 fee. For a third late payment, the parent will be contacted for a discussion on how to proceed, and the account will be referred to the accounting department.

By affixing your electronic signature, you commit to paying the agreed-upon tuition amount according to this schedule. Failure to comply will result in dismissal from TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory. The terms of this agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. In the event of non-payment, TLAP Sports Academy reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover all monies owed, plus associated lawyer fees.

Withdrawal or Dismissal Policy: TLAP Sports Academy maintains a stringent policy regarding the reduction or refunding of fees for absence, withdrawal, or dismissal. Parents and students should thoroughly review and understand the outlined circumstances, as no reduction or refund of fees will be allowed under the following conditions:

Substance Use: Use or possession of alcohol or drugs, unless prescribed by a medical practitioner.

Mental Health: Challenges in completing daily tasks due to mental health reasons.

Endangerment: Actions that may endanger others or school property.

Self-Inflicted Injuries: Intentionally self-inflicted injuries.

Boycotting: Boycotting of classes or scheduled activities.

Force Majeure Events: Events like natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, government shutdowns, pandemics, etc.

Facility Destruction: Destruction of school facilities.
Operational Inability: Inability of the academy to operate.

Military Service: Induction or drafting into the Armed Forces.

Physical Altercations: Engagement in fighting on school premises.

Non-Compliance and Disrespect: Not following academy rules and being disrespectful to staff.

Withdrawal Circumstances: Early or medical withdrawal, early graduation, temporary absence, or change from resident to day status.

Passing: In the event of the passing of a loved one, tuition obligations remain in effect.

Hotel Travel Policy: During travel, students are expected to share rooms with other athletes and maintain respectful behavior. Vandalism or destruction of hotel property is prohibited, and parents will be held responsible for any damages.

Confidentiality and Legal Disclaimer: This agreement contains confidential information. Unauthorized access or disclosure is prohibited. Any unintended recipient must notify the sender immediately.

Agreement Terms for 2024 2025 Season: This binding agreement defines the obligations between the PLAYER, PARENT, and TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory. It includes financial terms, legal recourse for non-payment, and a code of conduct for parents and players. By signing below, you commit to the terms and consequences outlined, including the drug testing policy. Failure to comply will result in dismissal from TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory.

"I, [Your Full Name], certify that I have read all the terms of the enrollment application, fully understand, accept, and agree to be bound by them. By signing my name, I acknowledge that my electronic signature is the legal equivalent of my printed signature. I understand that tuition costs must remain strictly confidential. I further acknowledge that this Agreement is binding on the representatives, assigns, and successors of such party. I voluntarily sign this agreement under my own will, agreeing to the terms above."

PLAYER: I affirm my commitment to being a positive team member and maintaining good sportsmanship. I will attend practices and games, communicate promptly if unable to attend, and refrain from criticizing others. Failure to adhere to these regulations may result in suspension from athletic participation.

PARENT: I pledge to support my child's involvement in sports, promote good sportsmanship, and ensure a safe environment free from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. I will pay all fees on time and refrain from discussing coaching decisions with others. Violations may result in my child's dismissal from the program.

Drug Testing Policy: The policy includes random testing and consequences for positive results. Positive results may be disclosed to college coaches. Safe Harbor provisions apply if seeking treatment before testing.

By signing electronically, you consent to drug testing, accept the policy consequences, and allow disclosure of results for administrative and coaching purposes. Original initials and signatures are required.

1. Deposits:

1.1. To confirm enrollment at TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory, a non-refundable deposit of $2,700 is requisite and is due concurrent with the submission of your application. Failure to remit this deposit within the stipulated timeframe will regrettably result in the relinquishment of your reserved placement within the program.

2. Tuition Payments:

2.1. The tuition structure for TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory is as follows:

PG Tuition: $16,000 (W/PF)
PG Tuition: $30,400 (W/O)
International Tuition: $45,000
HS Tuition: $12,000

2.2. Payment options encompass full settlement or installment plans. For those opting for installment plans, a detailed schedule will be furnished upon registration. It is imperative that all payments are completed by the specified due dates. Delinquency may result in incurring late fees, and access to the program may be temporarily restricted until all outstanding payments are resolved.

3. Refund Policy:

3.1. The deposit & tuition payments remains non-refundable under all circumstances.

3.2. Tuition payments, being integral to the binding agreement between both parties, are non-refundable post-application submission.

3.3. In the event of a student's withdrawal from the program after its commencement, regrettably, no refund will be issued.

Late Payments:

A late fee of $100 will be incurred for payments received after the 4th of each month, and it is essential that this supplementary amount be remitted simultaneously with the overdue tuition payment. In the event of a second instance of late payment, a subsequent late fee of $200 will be applied for payments made after the 4th day of each month. Should a third occurrence of late payment transpire, the parent will be contacted for a discussion on how to proceed with the outstanding payment. Additionally, the account will be subject to being locked and subsequently referred to the accounting department for further handling of remittances.

By acknowledging your receipt of this document, you confirm that you have comprehensively reviewed its contents, understood its implications, and are committed to adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in this Deposit and Tuition Payment Policy. Please be informed that TLAP Sports Academy Preparatory reserves the prerogative to amend this policy as deemed necessary, with any modifications promptly communicated to enrolled students.
